Steve Begley is a professional, male celebrant based in Runaway Bay, specialising in fun, inclusive and relaxed weddings across the Gold Coast.... for all couples.

​Combining a background as a professional leadership coach, facilitator, and event MC, I bring a personal touch to every celebration, focusing on creating meaningful moments.
I’m a people‑person at heart, drawn to great stories and meaningful moments — and nothing brings me more joy than a beautiful celebration, especially a wedding.

I’m married to my wonderful husband, Stuart, and we love life on the Gold Coast.
When I’m not working with couples, you’ll usually find me indulging my love of classic cars (especailly my MGB roadster), enjoying motorsport, or diving into my latest renovation project.
We both love entertaining, so our home is always full of music, great food and laughter!
I love a beer, a glass of wine (at the appropriate time ...of course) or a great coffee - let's meet up over one of those!

From MC to Celebrating Love
My path to becoming a marriage celebrant started with a long career helping people connect. I’ve worked across Australia as a leadership coach, event MC, and team culture specialist—so when friends asked me to officiate their weddings, it felt like a perfect fit.
And once I stood up there and helped tell their love stories? I was hooked.

Now being a wedding celebrant is my absolute passion.
